Marc and Evelyne Penvenne opened Méli-Mélo in 1993 as an homage to the regional cuisine they grew up eating in Bretagne, France. The couple was excited to recreate and introduce their favorite childhood flavors of traditional savory buckwheat and sweet wheat crépes to their new home of Greenwich, CT.

The vast selection and forever expanding menu of juices, crépes, soups, sorbets, ice cream, sandwiches and salads reflect the restaurant’s name, which means “hodge podge” in English.

In 2011, the restaurant expanded from a tight location of just 20 seats to over 60 thanks to the neighbors and community which has generously supported the family business over the years.
